If you are covered under your state’s health plan and you want to see how your coverage ends, you’ll need to call your state Department of Insurance to see when it’s going away.
The state will send a notice to your phone number.
The notice will give you 24 hours to contact your state health department to check.
If you don’t have a phone number to call, you can still check on the status of your coverage.
The notices are mailed to your number, and your health plan will notify you if your coverage is over.
If your coverage goes away, the state will notify your insurer.
The company can cancel the coverage or re-evaluate your coverage if it changes its mind.
The only way to know when your coverage may go away is to call.
You can call the Department of Health and Human Services at 1-800-424-9888 to check on your coverage status.
Your health plan may have a special phone number for this purpose.
If it does, it will tell you when you need to make an appointment.
Contact the state health director’s office to check the status.
